Eye Dark Circles

Periorbital dark circles (also known as eye dark circles) are dark blemishes around the eyes.

In most cases, the dark circles under the eyes are blood vessels that can be seen through the skin.

As people age, the skin becomes thinner and collagen is lost, sometimes enhancing the appearance of blood vessels beneath the eyes and making the area appear darker.

Dark undereye circles can be caused by a host of different things from heredity to allergies to poor sleep.
